The City of Brighton is pleased to announce the five adult finalists and one youth finalist for its 2025 Traffic Box Mural Project.
Adult Finalists:

- Kelsi Nicholson, “Sunflower Field”
- Deborah Ewing, “Butterflies”
- Samantha Pascavis, Fawns in the Field”
Youth Finalists:
- Alexandra Grein, eighth grader, “Storm of the Game”
Earlier this year, the city invited artists to participate in transforming traffic signal boxes into captivating public art installations. The call for art garnered more than 100 submissions. From these, judges selected 15 pieces and sought community input. Approximately 750 votes were received during the weeklong public voting.
The selected art will be installed this summer and remain on display for at least two years. To view the selected art and information on the artists, visit the project website.
