Whether you are commuting to work or school, going on a weekend bike ride with friends, or taking a stroll down your neighborhood street with your family, we are working to improve the quality of transportation for all modes.
BOLT (Brighton On-Demand Local Transit)
BOLT offers a convenient, affordable, and eco-friendly way to get around town without needing a personal car. Whether you’re commuting, heading downtown, or connecting to RTD, BOLT will get you there with just a few taps on your phone—or a quick call. Designed for flexibility and accessibility, rides can be booked in English or Spanish, with most trips completed in about 30 minutes.

Bicycling
Cycling is a great way to travel around Brighton and the surrounding area. The city actively encourages bicycling as an eco-friendly mode of transportation—an important part of its Strategic Plan to enhance mobility and support sustainability.
Brighton has a relatively robust trail network that provides regional access and local recreational opportunities, including the Colorado Front Range Trail, Platte River Trail, and Fulton Ditch Trail.

RTD - Bus, FlexRide and Access-a-Ride
Bus Routes

FlexRide
FlexRide provides extended bus service in specific metro Denver areas. Connect to Park-n-Rides, stations, work, medical centers, business parks, and other local destinations. Take FlexRide to run errands, get to appointments, or connect with other RTD services.
Make a reservation up to 30 days in advance and as little as 10 minutes prior to pick up time. If you have recurring trips at the same time to the same location, schedule up to 90 days in advance for convenience and peace of mind.
The Brighton FlexRide serves the city of Brighton. Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 7 PM, book your upcoming FlexRide.
Access-a-Ride
Access-a-Ride is RTD’s ADA complementary paratransit service. It is a shared-ride service intended for those who cannot use regular fixed-route bus/light rail service due to a disability.
Trips on Access-a-Ride may be used for any purpose. Reservations must be made one to seven days in advance. There is no same-day Access-a-Ride service.
Service availability on Access-a-Ride is determined by nearby fixed-route bus service. Eligibility is established under the guidelines provided by the federal government.

Via Mobility Services
VIA provides specialized transportation within the City of Brighton. Rides for medical appointments, grocery shopping and to Eagle View are just a few of the places you can go.
