Air Quality

At the City of Brighton, we recognize that clean air is essential to a healthy and thriving community. As part of our 2024 Sustainability Plan, we are dedicated to monitoring and reducing city-wide greenhouse gas emissions, co-pollutants, and improving overall air quality. Our efforts include transitioning to battery-powered equipment, piloting a citywide air quality sensor program, and joining the “Love My Air” network. We aim to empower residents with real-time information and tools to stay safe and educated about air quality.
