We’re fluffing the tree… and untangling the lights for the city's annual Tree Lighting. Families will be able to meet with Santa, visit The Teddy Bear Tree, and watch a special holiday performance from the internationally acclaimed all-vocal rock band, FACE. This year, there will also be a Winter Market with unique artists, crafters, and artisan food vendors.
The Tree lighting will take place on December 3 from 2-7 p.m. at Founders Plaza. More details here.
Get into the holiday spirit by making popcorn garland with the Brighton City Museum. Join the museum for an Old Fashioned Christmas on December 10 from 2-5 p.m. Visitors will be able to make old fashioned Christmas crafts while enjoying cookies and hot chocolate.
After the museum, grab your hot chocolate… a warm blanket… and head on out for the City of Brighton’s annual Festival of Lights Parade. This is the 27th year of Brighton’s favorite “Hometown Holiday Tradition.”
The night-time electric light parade will start at 5 p.m. on December 10. More details here.
