Your hometown 4th of July Community Celebration!
The City of Brighton will host a 4th of July Community Celebration from 4 – 10 p.m. Thursday, July 4 at Carmichael Park, located just behind Brighton City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave.
This year’s celebration will feature free activities for children as well as a variety of food vendors.
DJ Tidalwave will kick off the musical entertainment at 5 p.m. consisting of interactive activities, group dancing and more.
FUNKIPHINO will begin at 7 p.m. The members of this high-energy funk band infuse explosive horn lines, old-school Hammond organ sounds, and pumpin’ bass with intoxicating vocal harmonies.
Residents are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, water, etc.
Stay after the concert for one of the region’s largest firework displays!
