The City of Brighton has officially become a Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN) Regional Partner, strengthening the City’s ability to support local businesses in advancing sustainability while improving operational efficiency.
As a regional partner, the City will serve as a local point of contact for businesses interested in participating in the Colorado Green Business Network, a voluntary program administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The program provides free technical assistance, resources, and recognition to help businesses reduce energy and water use, minimize waste, and implement sustainable best practices.
“This partnership helps us more effectively engage with Brighton’s business community and support sustainability efforts that also improve operations and reduce energy and water costs,” said Traci McLean, Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Brighton. “We’re excited to provide these services and work more closely with local businesses to align our goals.”
Through this partnership, Brighton will expand outreach to local businesses and support participation in CGBN as part of the City’s broader sustainability and economic development efforts.
