Upcoming Planning Commission Meetings
Please visit the City Council Agenda Center for the agenda packet.
Please note that, when scheduled, Board of Adjustment meetings will commence immediately after the Planning Commission meeting has ended. Live and previous meetings can be viewed at Brighton's KBRI-8 television station.
The Planning Commission advises the Mayor, City Council, and other city departments on broad planning goals, policies, and plans for the physical development of the city. The Planning Commission meets on an as-needed basis every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Agendas are generally available the Friday prior to the meeting. If there is no agenda posted, then there is no meeting scheduled.
The Commission’s work is framed by the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use and Development Code, along with a commitment to engage citizens in the planning process to ensure the city’s goals are reached. Meetings are open to the public. For agendas and minutes from all other meetings, please click here Version Options Planning Commission Headline.
