The Brighton Recreation Center will not implement its annual shutdown period this year. Instead, the center will use a series of rolling closures from Sept. 16-27 to complete necessary maintenance and upgrades. 

 

The schedule for these rolling closures is as follows: 

During this period, our staff will also be working diligently overnight to deep clean, detail, and conserve the facility, ensuring that the Brighton Recreation Center continues to meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. 

 

Installation of new aquatics facility water slide set to begin 

The Brighton Recreation Center Aquatics Facility will soon feature a brand-new water slide. To facilitate the installation of this exciting addition, the entire aquatics area will be closed beginning Oct. 7 and will likely remain closed through mid-January 2025. Please note, the steam room and sauna will remain open during this time, provided noise levels are manageable. 

 

For patrons seeking alternative recreational options during these closures, the Fort Lupton Recreation Department will be available for free to our active members with quarterly and annual memberships. Guests will also receive residency rates at Trail Winds Recreation Center in Thornton.
