From Friday, May 17, to Monday, May 20, there will be a full closure across Bridge Street from 27th Avenue to Telluride Street to install a deep storm pipe. The closure will begin early on Friday after the morning rush hour and continue through the weekend, reopening on Monday.

The closure is crucial for large equipment use and deep excavations to take place. It is not safe for the traveling public or the crews to allow traffic to flow through the area during this time. Work will take place over the weekend in 24 hour shifts to reduce impacts to the community when the roadway is less traveled.

The project team recommends avoiding travel on Bridge Street over the weekend, using Bromley Lane from Telluride Street to 27th Avenue to work around the closure. There will be uniformed traffic control officers guiding traffic at each side of the closed section of roadway. Please see the map below for further navigation details.

Residents at Eastgate Village and within the closure area will be given access to enter and exit their homes with assistance from crew members throughout the closure.
