The City of Brighton’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the 41st Annual Turkey Trot Run/Walk Race on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 a.m. at the Brighton Recreation Center pavilions (555 N. 11th Avenue). The 5K run/walk is a Bolder Boulder qualifying race and will award first, second and third place winners in each age division.
Early bird entry fees are $35 for adults and $25 for youth and seniors. Race day entry fees are $40 for adults and $30 for youth and seniors. Day-of registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or swag bag. Entry fees will include a t-shirt, breakfast, awards, prizes and drawings. Please register as soon as possible to guarantee a shirt. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, Nov. 19 and Thursday, Nov. 20, 5-8 p.m. at Dicks Sporting Goods (2269 Prairie Center Parkway). Dicks will be offering an in-store discount for all packet pick-up participants. Those who have not registered by Nov. 14 at noon will have to wait to pick up their bib on the day of the race.
