The Brighton Recreation Center will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a new waterslide on Saturday, March 8 at 10:15 a.m.
Elementary school students from the Brighton area participated in a competition to name the new slide. The winning entry, The Brighton Cyclone by Willow Modica, was selected by City Council on Jan. 7.
