The Brighton Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at Bank of Colorado, located at 13 N. 50th., on Monday, Feb. 19. Police responded to the area after receiving an alarm notification from the bank at 2:41 p.m.
The male suspect demanded cash from the bank employee and then fled on foot. No weapons were used or displayed during the incident, and officers are continuing to gather suspect information.
This robbery is currently under investigation by the Brighton Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force.
