Brighton Police Department has launched Axon’s engagement platform, My90, as part of an ongoing commitment to understanding our community’s expectations and needs. This completes Action Item 2.1.1 of our five-year strategic plan, and brings us one step closer to becoming an accredited law enforcement agency.
My90 is a tool used to engage the public, collect feedback, and improve outcomes following calls for service. Community members use My90 to provide valuable input while maintaining their privacy. Brighton PD will use My90 to better understand the impact we are having within our community, from what is working well to what needs extra attention.
Those who call our dispatch center for certain incidents will automatically receive a text message to their cell phones with a link to the survey, where they can provide feedback about the service they received. There is also a general community survey available for anyone who would like to submit feedback about our agency.
“Our department believes in being an active member of our community through transparent communication and intentional listening,” said Brighton Police Chief Matt Domenico. “This tool will help us better understand what our diverse community expects and needs from us.”
“We are excited to be supporting Brighton Police Department’s mission to serve the public with smart, modern, and compassionate policing,” says Kona Shen, Axon’s VP and GM of My90. “We know that this type of feedback can build trust, strengthen relationships, and improve safety and we admire Brighton Police Department’s commitment to using this feedback to serve their community.”
Axon (NASDAQ: AXON) is the global leader in connected public safety technologies. Axon acquired My90 in 2021 as part of its mission to protect life, capture truth, and accelerate justice.
