Brighton Police Department is investigating a crash involving a school bus that occurred on April 11 just after 8 a.m. The initial investigation reveals that a 34-year-old female driving an Acura MDX was traveling westbound on Bridge Streat near 11th Avenue when she crashed into the back of a school bus.
The school bus was occupied by one driver and 16 students, who reported only minor injuries. Students were evaluated by medical personnel on scene, and either released to their parents or transported to school. The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the SUV was at fault.
