The Commerce City and Brighton Police Sexual Assault Task Force is seeking help from the community to locate the male pictured, 47-year-old Jason Mickel Brigham. Jason has a nationwide extradition warrant with a $1 million cash bond for failure to appear on 13 counts of sexual assault on a child. He is 6 ft, 280 lbs with blue eyes and brown hair. He is possibly driving the pictured blue Chevrolet truck with Colorado license plates 558-SFP.
The pictured white 2011 GMC HD 3500 Denali (temp plate 4983467), registered to Jason, is the vehicle that was on scene at Adams County Justice Center on the morning of Feb. 22 when Jason failed to appear in court and removed his GPS monitor. The monitor was later found at a nearby bus stop.
Under Colorado laws, the arrest and filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
