The Growing Grads College and Career Readiness program is an Office of Youth Services annual two-part series aimed to equip young people with the tools they need in all things college and career.

Growing Grads: College and Career Readiness Virtual Fair

This year the Brighton Youth Services will be providing a virtual College and Career Fair for the High School Juniors and Seniors in our community. 

  • Chat with colleges, trade schools and apprentice programs
  • FAFSA Presentation in English AND Spanish
  • Get the Green by checking out local scholarships

Growing Grads: FAFSA Workshops

The cost of attending a 4-year college, or technical education school is usually quite expensive, and therefore many people need to take out a loan to finance their education. While the FAFSA is necessary to complete, it can often be confusing. For this reason, the Office of Youth Services hosts FAFSA workshop nights where students and their families can receive free help from trained FAFSA professionals. Again, this year's workshops look a little different but we'll still be here to answer your questions and provide one on one assistance. The dates for this year’s FAFSA workshops are listed below.
