The Growing Grads College and Career Readiness program is a Brighton Youth Services annual two-part series aimed to equip young people with the tools they need in all things college and career.
Growing Grads: College and Career Readiness Kickoff
Brighton Youth Services provides an annual College and Career Readiness event for high school juniors and seniors in our community, and anyone interested in pursuing higher education. Students and families will be able to:
- Chat with colleges, trade schools and apprentice programs
- View Financial Aid Presentations in English AND Spanish
- Get the Green by checking out local scholarships
The Kickoff was held at the Armory Performing Arts Center on Sept. 15, 2021 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. We look forward to hosting it again in September of 2022!
Growing Grads: FAFSA Workshops
The cost of attending a 4-year college, or technical education school is usually quite expensive, and therefore many people need to take out a loan to finance their education. While the FAFSA is necessary to complete, it can often be confusing. For this reason, Brighton Youth Services hosts FAFSA workshop nights where students and their families can receive free help from trained FAFSA professionals. During these workshops FAFSA professionals are available to answer your questions and provide one on one assistance.
