Fourth of July celebration to return to Carmichael Park


The City of Brighton’s popular annual Fourth of July Celebration will be making its return to Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street) on Friday, July 4. The event will include a live concert by Ninety2K from 7 - 9 p.m., as well as free face painting for the kids!

 At the conclusion of the concert, attendees are encouraged to look to the sky for one of the region’s largest fireworks displays. Food will be available for purchase through food trucks.

  • 5 p.m. Event Begins (check out our food vendors and free face painting!)
  • 5 p.m. - Live music by DJ Overkill
  • 7 - 9 p.m. - Live music Ninety2K
  • National Anthem & Fireworks Display to follow the concert

Parking

Parking is available at City Hall and along nearby residential streets. If parking in a neighborhood, please be courteous—avoid blocking fire hydrants, follow all posted restrictions, and respect residents’ access to their property and overall safety.

Although 4th Avenue is currently a work in progress due to a water pipe replacement project, the roadway will be open during on Friday. Active construction will not take place along 4th Avenue on Friday, but motorists should continue to use caution due to temporary lane shifts and uneven surfacing.
