2. City of Brighton Official Proclamation/Certificate Request Form

   Thank you for your interest in requesting a proclamation or certificate of recognition for outstanding local accomplishments from Brighton City Council. Please complete this form in full. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

4. GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS
   • Deadline: Requests must be submitted at least 30 days [or 4 weeks] prior to the date the document is needed.
   • Criteria: Proclamations are issued for civic celebrations, organizations contributing to the community, significant anniversaries, or individuals with significant achievements. They are strictly honorary and not legally binding.
   • Restrictions: Proclamations will not be issued for political controversies, religious beliefs, individual convictions, or commercial advertisements.
   • Right to Edit: The City reserves the right to modify or deny any request.
