About the Contest

Each year, elementary school students in Brighton are invited to submit their best and most creative name ideas for the city’s snowplows. Winners will have an opportunity to take a photo with the snowplow they named and be recognized at a City Council.

Additionally, the contest winners will have an opportunity to ride alongside the snowplows they named during the city’s annual Festival of Lights parade.
