Funshine 2026 starts on Monday, June 8.

If you prefer, you can sign up for the 9-week program and only have your child attend on the days most convenient for you, but there will not be any price changes.

The location for Funshine 2026 will be at Vikan Middle School.

We will be housed inside the school. Entrances will be clearly marked and easy to find.

Swim at least once a week. Arts, crafts, active game, team building, STEM activities. Field trips are on Wednesdays (no field trip the first week).

Swim lessons will not be offered this year.

Field trip information will be available at the Parent Night. Afterwards, it will be posted online, as well.

Camp T-Shirts will be handed out on our first field trip day.

Please apply sunscreen before drop-off. Rocky Mountain Sunscreen SPF 50 will be provided to campers who don't have their own.

Medication must be turned in to our staff by Parent Night. Counselors are certified to administer medication.

Immunizations are required and need to be submitted annually.

Yes, Funshine is a State Licensed program and required by law to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the state. Therefore, all paperwork must be verified and submitted before your child can participate or attend the camp or camp activities.

Yes, state licensing requires our staff to get cleared through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the FBI and the TRAILS system. In addition, the City of Brighton runs a separate background check before we hire any staff.
