    Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Brighton will hold a public hearing regarding an application for a zone change for property known as 57 N. 10thAvenue located on the southwest corner of N. 10th Avenue approximately one hundred feet from the intersection with Walnut Street. The request is to change zone districts from the Neighborly Services Planned Unit Development (PUD) to City of Brighton R-2 (Mixed-Density Residential). The property is approximately 0.1722 acres (7,501 square feet) and is generally located on part of the southeast of Section 6, Township 1 South, Range 66 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Brighton, County of Adams, State of Colorado. The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a zone change at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug.t 17, 2021. The hearing will take place at City Council Chambers (1st Floor of City Hall), 500 S. 4th Ave., Brighton, CO 80601.

  6. Touch-A-Truck

    August 28, 2021, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ City Hall

    For the fourth year, the City of Brighton will be bringing out its heavy machinery for Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Brighton City Hall (500 S. 4th Avenue). At the annual event, kids of all ages will get the opportunity to go behind the wheel, climb and explore vehicles of all sizes and meet the people who operate them. Police cars, fire trucks, tractors, snow plows, loaders and much more will be at the event. Kids in attendance will get to help decorate one of the city’s snow plows with paint. This year’s event will also feature a Bike Safety Rodeo and Big Bike Roundup hosted by the Brighton Rotary Club and Bike Brighton.
