I came from a town that experienced train whistles all day and night, something like Brighton. The town stopped the noise. The RR and the town came to an agreement, no more whistles. Can Brighton do this? Also, those loud vehicles are so loud, and so much of them. Can we stop this madness? If we can stop the cigarette smoke in public, can we stop those loud, "LOOK AT ME" vehicles that drive our city streets? The noise is so ridiculously loud. All it really says is, "Look at ME", I am so cool....wrong!!!! Get out of my neighborhood is what I am really thinking, you are killing my eardrums here in Brighton. Why can we not control the loudness? The emissions testing should include the loudness of the vehicles too. Control the noise before it deafens us all. I love the stealthy quiet cars and trucks, that's what is really sexy to me....not the loud, "LOOK AT ME VEHICLES", you poor souls...

Have the city work with the High School and Vikan in picking up trash that is left behind by students and visitors. The 2-3 block radius of the high school always looks very trashy. I am not sure...

Have the city work with the High School and Vikan in picking up trash that is left behind by students and visitors. The 2-3 block radius of the high school always looks very trashy. I am not sure there is even a detention in school anymore but if there is why can't these students be used to pick up the trash instead of being sent home to play video games.
