Bridge Street will be closed for westbound traffic for the next two weekends in order to install a fire service line to a building on the corner of Bridge Street and N. 1st Avenue. Detours will be in place. The detour will follow North Main to Strong Street then to 1st Avenue and back to Bridge Street.

The work will require the street to be closed for most of next two weekends. The first weekend, westbound Bridge Street will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 3.

The second weekend, westbound Bridge Street will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, March 7 to 6 a.m. on Monday, March 10.

Bridge Street may be opened sooner if conditions warrant. Quick’s Backhoe Service will be doing the installation. For more information, please contact the Streets Department at 303-655-2034.
