The City of Brighton is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, designed to be more interactive and user-friendly for citizens.
The website www.brightonco.gov was re-designed by CivicPlus. The website now has enhanced functionality as well as a cleaner, easier layout to navigate.
Users will find it easier to communicate directly with various departments, report issues related to the city, and receive information their interested in directly to their e-mail or cell phone. Some of the new components include:
• Community Voice: allows residents to submit ideas for improvements and changes they’d like to see within the community.
• Notify Me: allows residents to sign up to receive notifications via e-mail or text message as new information is added to the website
• Report a Concern: allows residents to report and track any concerns in the community.
• Media Center: one-stop show for City of Brighton photos, videos and publications.
The new website will make it easier for the City of Brighton to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents and the local government.
The city’s Arts & Culture office, in conjunction with the Brighton Cultural Arts Commission, also recently launched a new Brighton Arts, Culture & Tourism website featuring community events, things to do in Brighton, places of interest and arts and culture news. The website – www.brightoncoARTS.org – was funded through a lodging tax grant and was also designed by CivicPlus. The goal of the site is to connect arts and culture to the Brighton community and provide a one-stop site for residents and visitors to find out what’s happening in the community.
