Brighton Police Department is seeking help from the public to locate the male pictured, 19-year-old Jaheim White. Jaheim is wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on Aug. 7, 2022 in the 300 block of County Road 27 (North Main Street). 

Around 1 a.m. that day officers responded to a report of gun shots. They learned upon their arrival that there had been a fight at a large house party where shots were fired, and the individuals involved in the shooting had fled the scene. Later that morning, a 24-year-old male arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound. Fortunately, he survived. 

After a thorough investigation, a warrant for attempted manslaughter has been issued for Jaheim's arrest. Jaheim is described as a 5-foot-9, 135-pound Black male with brown eyes and black hair. The whereabouts of the suspect are currently unknown. If you have any information about Jaheim or his whereabouts, please call the Brighton Police Department tip line at 303-655-8740. 

Under Colorado laws, the arrest and filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
