Unneeded prescription medication–those that are old, unwanted, or no longer needed – are a public safety issue, too often becoming a gateway to addiction. The majority of opioid addictions start with prescription pills found in medicine cabinets at home.
DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is one way to dispose of unneeded medications!
Stop by the Brighton Police Department on October 28 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to easily dispose of your unwanted prescription medications. Please verify all boxes, bags, and bottles are sealed. Please no needles/sharps, or illicit drugs.
