The City of Brighton Eye for Art program announces a call for artists for its Sculpture-on-Loan Program. This year-long sculpture exhibit is displayed at Carmichael Park (650 Southern Street). The artists’ submission deadline is Nov. 30. To apply, please visit Call For Entry and Application Management for the Arts | CaFÉ.
The Sculpture Walk at Carmichael Park is part of the City’s Eye for Art Sculpture-on-Loan program. Artists are invited to display their outdoor sculptures in this 12-month exhibit. Sculptures with visible presence, as well as durability for Colorado weather, are sought for this outdoor venue.
Five sculptures will be selected, with each receiving a $500 honorarium at placement. $1,000 will be awarded for “Brighton’s Choice,” as well as possible purchasing by the public and/or the City. The program has sold 10 wonderful sculptures located throughout the City.
