The City of Brighton has rescheduled its annual Art in the Park festival to Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Carmichael Park located at 650 Southern Street. The new date follows the cancellation of the initial event date of September 10 due to weather conditions. Artists not previously registered can still sign up at brightonartinthepark.com. The deadline for new registrations is Sept. 30.                          

This one-day festival will give attendees the opportunity to meet with local, regional, and international artists showcasing their work, enjoy live music, watch artist demonstrations and entertain children with interactive art activities. In addition, food will be available for purchase through food trucks in attendance. The festival is free to the public.
