Brighton Oasis Family Aquatic Park to reopen June 1

Due to mechanical and staffing issues, the Brighton Oasis Family Aquatic Park will be delaying the park’s reopening from Saturday, May 28 to Wednesday, June 1, weather permitting. The Oasis will be open daily from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. through at least Aug. 7.

Join us this summer at our dynamic outdoor facility. The Brighton Oasis offers something for everyone featuring two exciting slides, a lazy river with zero-depth entry and wave generator, and a climbing wall in the dive well. There is a tot pool with zero-depth entry and interactive play features as well as a water basketball area. In addition, the Brighton Oasis has a number of events planned including:

  • June 24, 5:30 -8:30 p.m.: Adult Night
  • July 15, 5:30 -8:30 p.m.: Adult Night
  • July 29, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Customer Appreciation Day

The Oasis will close if the forecasted high for the day isn't at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure to follow the park’s Facebook page for weather-related closures or call 303-655-2095.

The splash pads at Emi Chikuma Plaza at Benedict park (1750 Skeel St.) and Footprint Park (4515 Mt. Sneffels St.) will open for the season on Thursday, May 26,  from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, visit the splash pad website.

The pool at the Brighton Recreation Center will have modified pool hours through the summer, starting Tuesday, May 31. Rec Center pool hours are as follows: Monday - Thursday: 5:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sunday: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please refer to the Brighton Recreation Center webpage for open swim times and swim lesson closures.
