The City of Brighton’s Growing Grads program is once again going to host the Spotlight on Young Entrepreneurs Program on June 22. The program will consist of a one-day bootcamp from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., starting with a panel of entrepreneurs in the morning, followed by workshops on how to start a business (ideation, communication, expenses, etc.). When youth complete this one-day bootcamp, they will become eligible to sell their goods or services at the City of Brighton Barbecue on July 21 at Carmichael Park.
“Last year’s launch of the program was very successful and we can’t wait to bring it back and nurture more young talented entrepreneurs here in our community,” said Tawnya Russell, Manager of Youth Services.
Individuals ages 18 years and younger are eligible to apply for the program. Space is limited. To apply for the program, click here. The deadline for applications is June 6. If you have questions, please contact Tawyna Russell, Manager of Youth Services, at 303-655-2123 or trussell@brightonco.gov.
About the Young Entrepreneur Program:
