The Brighton Recreation Center is encouraging everyone to participate in Kids to Parks Day on Saturday, May 21. Kids and their families are connected with parks throughout their community and encouraged to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The Recreation Center will provide families with a list of activities that can help direct their day of exploration - Follow facebook.com/brightonrec and the Rec Center website. Additionally, an adventure kit will be available at the Recreation Center for pick-up to help assist new explorers with accomplishing their list of activities. This kit will include chalk, bubbles, sunglasses, a cup, park maps and a drawstring bag that can help hold belongings.
Anyone who participates is encouraged to snap a selfie and post it with #BrightonK2P for a chance to win a punch pass to the Recreation Center. Selfies should be taken exploring or participating in an outdoor activity of choice.
