Food, music, family-friendly fun and more are coming to Brighton’s biggest community festival Summerfest on Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street). The festival will include kids activities like a petting zoo and pony rides, a beer garden, food vendors, live music and more. There will also be businesses and organizations educating the public on their services.
The FNBO Entertainment Stage will feature performances by headliner The Petty Nicks Experience at 3:30 p.m. Prior to the headliner, there will be live performances by Reid Tynan at 11 a.m., Distant Rivers at 12:15 p.m. and Red Baron at 1:45 p.m.
No registration is required for attendance. All Summerfest activities and concerts are free to the public. Food will be available for purchase.
The City of Brighton is still taking vendor applications - please contact Susie O’Connor, Events Coordinator, at soconnor@brightonco.gov or visit brightonco.gov/summerfest. The deadline for vendor applications is May 16.
