The City of Brighton Eye for Art program announces a call for artists for its 2022-2023 Sculpture-on-Loan Program. This year-long sculpture exhibit is held at Carmichael Park located at 650 Southern Street. The artist submission deadline is Friday, July 15.
The Sculpture Walk at Carmichael Park is part of the City’s Eye for Art Sculpture-on-Loan Program. Artists are invited to display their outdoor sculptures in this 12-month exhibit. Sculptures with visible presence as well as durability for Colorado weather are sought for this outdoor venue.
For the program, five sculptures will be selected and the artist of each will receive a $500 honorarium at placement. In addition, $1,000 will be awarded for a public-voted “Brighton’s Choice” award, as well as possible purchasing by the public and/or the City. To date, the program has sold eight sculptures located throughout the City.
The City of Brighton is a proud supporter of the arts.
