The Brighton Cemeteries Department is preparing for the sod of burial sites. For all burial service dates preceding April 1, sod will be installed before Memorial Day (May 30). For burial services occurring after April 1, sod will be installed in September. During this time, we ask that no decorations be placed on the edges of the sod or in the sod until it has taken root in the soil.
