The Brighton Recreation Center is bringing back Funshine Summer Camp for youth and you can register to reserve a spot starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, February 7. Funshine is a state-licensed summer day program for youth and teens ages 6-12 years old. The camp runs from Monday, June 6 - Friday, July 28. Weekly activities include swimming at the Brighton Oasis Family Aquatic Park, games, crafts, sports and more. Weekly field trips are also planned.
There are two tiers of programming for the camp:
- Regular hours: 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. ($800 per child)
- Extended hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ($1,110 per child)
There is a $100 per child non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration. Funshine allows families to either pay the full camp fee at the time of registration or split payments over the course of five weeks. The program cost includes all field trips, transportation, daily activities and a Funshine T-shirt. More details on the camp will be made available as the date approaches.
