At the January 4 City Council Meeting, Mayor-Elect Gregory Mills and new City Council representatives were sworn into office in a special ceremony at The Armory Performing Arts Center. Among the City Council members sworn-in are Matt Johnston for Ward 1, Ann Taddeo for Ward 2, Jan Pawlowski for Ward 3, Peter Padilla for Ward 4, and Clint Blackhurst for the recently vacant Ward 3 position.
City Council also voted to appoint Council Member Adam Cushing (Ward 4) as Mayor Pro Tem.
Outgoing City Council member Mark Humbert of Ward 4 was also recognized for his service to the community.
The terms for Mayor Mills, Pawlowski, Padilla, Johnston and Taddeo will end in January of 2026. Blackhurst’s term will end in January of 2024. Mayor Pro Tem Cushing will serve a two-year term.
