The City of Brighton announces today the resignation of City Manager Jane Bais DiSessa, effective October 11, 2021. DiSessa has been the Brighton City Manager since September 14, 2020 and completed the term of her contract.
The City Council is grateful for DiSessa’s service to the City of Brighton and wishes her well in her future endeavors.
“DiSessa has been a great asset to the City, especially during a time of uncertainty and challenges that have come with COVID-19,” said Brighton Mayor Greg Mills. “On behalf of the City Council and staff, we appreciate all she has done to move Brighton in a positive direction this past year.”
Deputy City Manager Marv Falconburg will be Acting City Manager effective immediately, while City Council determines next steps in hiring a new City Manager.
