Youth will get the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills and confidence at the City of Brighton’s Image Summit Remix workshops starting October 25. Every Monday through December 20, students grades 5 through 12 will get to participate in various fun and engaging skill-building workshops at Brighton City Hall. The Remix serves as an alternative to the 2021 IMAGE Summit, which was canceled due to low registration.
“We are looking forward to bringing back and hosting the IMAGE Summit next year,” said Tawnya Russell, Manager of Youth Services. “But in the meantime, we’re so happy to offer this new series of interactive workshops that’ll help our future leaders.”
Workshops will take place at Brighton City Hall (500 S. 4th Avenue) from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. for high school students and 11 a.m. - noon. for 5th - 8th graders. Students can sign up for as many workshops as they’d like. All workshops are free, but registration is required for participants. Click here to register. There is no deadline for registration, but spots are limited so register today. Light drinks and snacks will be provided.
