Major construction for the Brighton North Outfall Project will bring Bridge Street down to one lane of traffic in each direction from 5th to 8th avenues starting Wednesday, October 6 at 7 a.m. The lane closures will last for 24 hours a day until approximately November 5 at 5 p.m.
Message boards will notify drivers of the lane changes prior to and during construction. Traffic control devices will be in place to safely direct drivers through the construction zone. The City recommends using Bromley Lane or Baseline Road for the major east and west routes during this construction.
This will be the project’s final major traffic impact to the area.
