Starting Friday, June 4, the Brighton Municipal Court will begin modifying its court sessions to add in-person hearings:
In-person hearings:
- Friday (all times)
- Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Virtual hearings:
- Tuesdays (except for 10 a.m.)
- *Note: On Friday, June 11, hearings will be virtual
For in-person court sessions, the Court requests that defendants wear a face covering and observe social distancing. Admittance into the Courtroom will not be permitted if you are wearing any of the following: shorts, tank tops, gang-related clothing, drug-related clothing, clothing with sexually explicit graphics and pajamas. If you are ill or unable to appear at your scheduled court date, please contact the Municipal Court by email at municourt@brightonco.gov or by calling (303) 655-2064 to discuss your options.
To appear for court remotely, please check-in through Qless via the app on your mobile device or at brightonco.gov/court under “Remote Appearance - Virtual Hearings.” You will be required to have an electronic device with an internet connection, audio and video. An audio call is allowed, but not the preferred method of use. Please be sure to test your connection and audio in advance of your hearing.
