The Brighton Police Department believes nearly everyone has been touched my cancer - that’s why they have decided to form a team and participate in The American Cancer Society’s No-Shave November annual tradition.
No-Shave November and The American Cancer Society partner annually to grow awareness by encouraging people to embrace their hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. The tradition encourages people to donate the money they’d usually spend on shaving and grooming for a month to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle (www.no-shave.org).
The Brighton Police department has set a team fundraising goal of $750. Every donation, big or small, will help them reach their goal and help support The American Cancer Society’s lifesaving work in research, education, and advocacy.
If you would like to help the Brighton Police Department reach their goal, you can donate at www.no-shave.org under the team name ‘The Thin Blue Stache’, Brighton PD.
For questions or concerns, please contact the Brighton Police Department at (303) 655-2300.
