On Monday, Feb. 1, construction on the Brighton North Outfall Project will begin. This project will construct storm drain improvements to mitigate nuisance flooding to residents north of downtown Brighton. American West Construction will start work on 4th Avenue. Construction between Longs Peak and Brighton streets will conclude on approximately March 8.

During this time, 4th Ave. between Longs Peak and Brighton streets will be closed to through traffic and street parking will not be available. Residents will be able to park in their driveways overnight. Postal and emergency services will not be interrupted.

In addition, the intersection at Longs Peak and 4th Ave. will be closed to thru traffic.
