Due to lack of participation, the City of Brighton has decided to change its plans for the Festival of Lights Drive-Thru Parade and will instead host Santa Claus for a drive through Brighton’s neighborhoods. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there were only a limited number of participants able to build floats for Festival of Lights and therefore, not enough entries to host a drive-thru parade. The City is now changing that focus to a Santa Claus Drives Through Brighton for the public to enjoy on Saturday, Dec. 19 - details about Santa’s route and drive times will be released in the coming days on the City’s website, Facebook and Twitter.

The City appreciates the community’s understanding during these unprecedented times and hopes the public will enjoy Santa coming to them during his drive around Brighton.
