As the City of Brighton prepares to host its 25th Annual Festival of Lights Parade as a drive-thru, new details are available for spectators who plan to enjoy the dazzling display of lights. The drive-thru parade route will begin at Tower Road and Southern Street, going south along Tower Road, ending at Bromley Lane. Traffic control will be present to help direct the flow of cars.
The 2020 Festival of Lights Drive-Thru Parade is set to take place from 5- 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Due to COVID-19, the City will not be able to host its traditional parade, but this drive-thru format will allow residents the opportunity to enjoy the dazzling floats from the comfort and safety of their cars.
Registration is required for drive-thru spectators (one RSVP per car). Four time slots are available: 5-6 p.m, 6-7 p.m., 7-8 p.m. and 8-9 pm. To reserve a spot, sign-up here. The deadline to RSVP is Dec. 12 at 1 p.m.
Floats must meet lighting and other entry requirements. Face coverings will be required. All COVID-19 guidelines will be mandated. Additionally, please follow guidelines when building your float.
