Due to several City of Brighton employees testing positive for COVID-19, and out of precaution to keep our employees and visitors safe, City Manager Jane Bais DiSessa has temporarily closed all city facilities effective Monday, Oct. 26. The City will reassess as the week progresses and determine when facilities are safe to reopen.
The following buildings will be closed to the public:
Brighton City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave.
Historic City Hall, 22 S. 4th Ave.
Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave.
Eagle View Adult Center, 1150 Prairie Center Parkway
Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong St.
The Brighton Police Department will remain open. The city is currently undergoing necessary remedial efforts to all city facilities. Reopening updates will be posted on the city’s website at www.brightonco.gov and social media sites.
