The City of Brighton’s community art show ARTfest will be held July 29 through Sept. 30 at the Armory Performing Arts Center, located at 300 Strong Street. Local artists who would like to showcase their artwork may enter submissions through July 27 for a $5 entry fee.
Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the show is full. Each artist will be limited to two pieces. Work must be appropriately framed and wired for wall mounting. Clip-framed work is NOT acceptable. No saw tooth hangers. Gallery-wrapped canvas with no exposed staples or tacks will be accepted only if it is properly wired for hanging and all exposed canvas is painted. Artwork is limited to 50 pounds.
