Eagle View E-Blast Week of May 11 - 17
Welcome to our first email newsletter - the Eagle View E-Blast! Our goal is to keep you up to date about the Eagle View Adult Center. It is a crazy time with our way of life-changing daily. Since we are unsure about the opening date of Eagle View, we will be sending emails about fun things to do at home through Eagle View, other online programs, helpful resources, and center updates. There will also be suggestions for people who do not have computer technology. Many of our members do not have email or we do not have their email addresses, so please share this email with your friends. If you know someone with an e-mail that did not receive this please have them call the center at 303-655-2075 so their email can be added.
We miss you and are working hard to find ways to stay connected while we are physically apart!
Your Eagle View Team
Eagle View Adult Center Updates:
The City of Brighton is set to transition from the Governor’s Stay-at-Home to Safer-at-Home order starting May 9. Brighton City Hall and Historic City Hall are scheduled to open to the public on June 1. Other City buildings including Eagle View Adult Center, the Armory Performing Arts Center, and the Brighton Recreation Center remain closed to the public until further notice. The Brighton Police Department will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Essential public safety services will continue and measures are in place to continue non-emergency operations.
Since Eagle View does not have an opening date, we will not be mailing a June newsletter. Instead, we will begin emailing a newsletter, hopefully on a weekly basis. In that newsletter, you can expect to see some new virtual programs as well as current information. For those without technology, we will continue to have staff answering phones and returning calls in a timely manner. We are doing maintenance on the building now that normally would have been done during our annual August shut-down so our building will be ready for your return!
