With a Site Improvement Permit to be issued in the near future, Brighton’s newest multi-family development, Kairoi Apartments, will soon be underway at Brighton Crossing. Located near the northwest corner of 50th Avenue and Bridge Street, the development will offer much-needed housing options while triggering the transition of use intensity in the area from commercial to lower density dwellings. The apartments are housed in six buildings with a total of 315 units, consisting of 103 studio, 78 one-bedroom, 94 two-bedroom, and 40 three-bedroom units. Five of the buildings will be 3-stories tall, while Building Two, located furthest west of site, will stand at 4-stories.
Each of the building façades are to be cladded in brick, panel with wood trim, lap siding, and metal, alternating in sections to provide rhythm, order, and some variety to the extensive structures. Along the perimeter of both the site and buildings are several parking options for residents, including two 12-car garages, carport stalls, as well as standard, compact, and accessible parking spaces. Residents will have the opportunity to partake in a centrally-located swimming pool with an adjacent cabana, a clubhouse integrated to the north of Building 6, and Dog Park situated in the far west open space tract. This open space will also feature a 10-foot wide meandering walk that enables north and south connectivity throughout the site, planned to eventually extend through the entire development. The site will have two vehicular points of access to the north and one to the south, with the west and east sides dedicated to pedestrian mobility.
