South Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Bromley Lane and Jessup Street. This is a hard closure lasting 24 hours a day between April 28 and May 10. During this time, crews will be finishing removal of the old Main Street, and constructing a new cul-de-sac. A detour will guide motorists around the closure going east on Jessup Street, then taking South 4th Avenue to Bromley Lane. Access to local businesses will remain open; Peerless Tire Company and U-Pump-It will be accessible only from Bromley Lane.
