Public Hearing: Brighton Ridge Zoning Map Amendment

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Brighton will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Zone Change of the approximately 103.57 acres of property to be named the Brighton Ridge Zoning Map Amendment. The Property is generally located to the south of E. 120th Avenue, west of Sable Boulevard, and east of Southgate Boulevard. The request to rezone is to better meet the intent of Brighton's Comprehensive Plan as a Mixed-Use Commercial development. The Property is located in a Portion of the northeast quarter of Section 1, Township 2 South, Range 67 West, and the northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 2 South, Range 66 West, All of the 6th Principal Meridian, City of Brighton, County of Adams, State of Colorado.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a Zoning Map Amendment at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022. The hearing will take place in the Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall at 500 S. 4th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601. The Planning Commission will hear evidence from City staff, the applicant, and any interested parties and will make a recommendation to City Council on the application thereafter.
